Chronos announces the UK availability of CAST Navigation’s smallest fully capable GPS Satellite Simulator

Lydbrook, Gloucestershire, 15 May 2012 - Chronos’ supply partner, CAST Navigation has announced the introduction the CAST-SGX handheld GPS Satellite Simulator.
The CAST-SGX with its compact size 7in (H) x 11in (W) x 3in (D) and weighing in at just over 4 pounds, is CAST’s newest and smallest fully capable simulator to date.
The new SGX lightweight portable simulator operates on AC or battery power, features 16 channels of either GPS L1 C/A code or GPS L1 C/A and P codes, and is extremely accurate and repeatable. Features include touch screen, individual satellite power control and start and stop scenarios with the touch of a button. The CAST-SGX is delivered with CAST-XGen Basic Software which can be installed on a separate PC and allows the user to create simple scenarios based on four simple manoeuvre sets. A more advanced CAST-XGen Plus software capability is also available for advanced scenario creation.
